station diverges from the GN & GE Joint line, and can be seen

heading off towards the right. Ahead is the Sleaford Avoiding

Line. This officially closed in 1983, but has seen occasional use

since then. Under new proposals to divert freight off the ECML

onto the Joint Line, this short line will once again see frequent use by

trains.
