Bromley South - Boston

All views below taken at Boston

Featured in these photographs is the first ever passenger train on the branch to Boston Dock since it opened in 1884. This Branch Line Society from Bromley South also traversed the Boutham Triangle near Lincoln and the Sleaford Avoiding Line before continuing to Boston and thence a short trip down the Port of Boston siding and the Dock Branch itself where it is seen below pasing the unique signal box, crossing the Swing Bridge and with the last remaining GNR Somersault signal still in use. The train itself was a Hastings DEMU set 60118 "Tunbridge Wells" + 60501 + 70262 + 60529 + 60000 "Hastings", the first time such a unit has ever operated to this part of Lincolnshire.
