1439 (BBE 776) a Leyland Tiger with Burlingham body is seen at Lincoln on the route 8A to Boston via Woodhall Spa. Behind it is 2414 NFW 655) a Bristol SC4LK, new in 1956, which had worked the Fridays service 8D from South Kyme. |

2227 (OFU 438) a Bristol LS5G with ECW B45F body was new to the Company in January 1957. It was renumbered to 2218 in 1958 and withdrawn in 1972. It is seen here on route 20, on the 0920 fropm Spalding to Swinstead. |
| 2222 (OFU 433) is another Bristol LS5G which was originally fitted with 41 dual purpose seats but was reseated to 43 bus seats in January 1966. It also suffered renumbering: to 3008 in 1958,; 2658 in 1962 and 2058 in 1968. It was withdrawn in 1972. It is seen at Holbeach depot in the morning on a duplicate 65 to either Spalding or King's Lynn. | ![]() |

| 2259 (MFU 107) was a Bristol LS6G with C39F body (converted to DP39F in april 1967), new to the LRCC in March 1955. It was renumbered 2809 in 1958; 2009 in 1967, and withdrawn in 1972. It was then used as a non psv tuition vehicle before passing to United Counties for spares. It is seen on the 2A to Branston. The other vehicle is 2448 (OFW 797) a Bristol SC4LK, which was new in October 1957. It was withdrawn in 1968. | ![]() |

One obvious difference between the dual purpose SC4LK's and their ordinary bus counterparts was the radiator style. In this view at Grimsby, on the left is 2494 (RFE 482) new in August 1961. Beside it is 2609 (OFW 806) new in June 1957 and originally DP33F but converted to B35F in 1975. They were withdrawn, respectively, in 1975 and 1974. 2609 was sold to N.P. Headland (Northampton) for preservation) and a photograph of it is featured in this site. |

2470 (NFE 441) was new in July 1959 and withdrawn in 1975. It is seen departing from Grantham on service 20 to Spalding via Bourne. Thankfully, the rather unhelpful practice of simply displaying "SERVICE" instead of the destination , has long since ceased. |

2263 (BVL 50C), a Bristol MW6G., is seen at Boston bus station in 1976 before working the 8A to Horsington where it would connect with the Hudsons service from Horncastle to Lincoln. It had a relatively short career with the LRCC in being new in 1966 and withdrawn twelve years later. |
| 1201 (AFE 471B) was the first of the RELL6G's with ECW B54F body with the distinctive destination display. It was new to the LRCC in 1964 and is seen at Cleethorpes Market Place on an excursion. Beside it is a Bristol FS and just visible is a Bristol MW. | ![]() |
