H.H. Milson of Coningsby |
The business of H.H. Milson was founded in Coningsby in 1923. A history of the Company is shown below. Routes operated included Boston to Coningsby, Horncastle, Tattershall - Mablethorpe, Skegness (summer)and Coningsby to Horncastle and Sleaford. At the Company's stop in Norman Avenue, Boston, are two Milson buses, the front one being ex Howlett's of Quorn Bedford VAM MUT 400F. |

4364 WU saw further use after leaving the company when it
was acquired by the Maypole House school of Horncastle
for transporting pupils. It is seen whilst parked at a

| An extract from a rare set of the Company's timetables submitted to the Traffiic Commissioner with both the the latter's and Company's handstamp. The Boston to Horncastle run still continues being operated by Brylaine Travel albeit much less frequently. |

| As indicated by this letter, the business of H.H. Milson was purchased by Hogg in 1979. This is a rather historic document as Hogg itself ceased in 1990 after its acquisition by Brylaine Travel. The former H.H. Milson Coningsby premises are still used today as a depot by Brylaine Travel. |

| One artefact to survive is this operators name plate from one of the vehicles. It is currently on display in the Lincolnshire Vintage Vehicle Society's Mueum at North Hykeham. |
