This was essentially an experiment to see if such vehicles could be used

instead of double-deckers. Seating inside was in a 3 + 2 arrangement with a

rather narrow passage between. It was the only vehicle to be so fitted and

is the largest capacity single-deck ever operated by the LRCC ! It was

photographed whilst at Grantham bus station prior to departure on the

service 601 to Lincoln.
