Gash & Sons of Newark, several of the former company's services had

passed to the LRCC. One of the vehicles was 1420 (YNN 650H) and was

new to Gash in 1970. Whilst in service with the LRCC it was to become

the oldest vehicle in the fleet until its subsequent withdrawal and

purchase for preservation. Unfortunately no details are available as to

its restoration and we would be grateful for anyone who has details to
