2273 ( WWU 272) was one of six ECW bodied Bristol MW5Gs which the LRCC acquired from the West Yorkshire Road Car Company in 1972. 2270-4 arrived as DP41F but were converted to B43F before entering service. This particular vehicle was withdrawn in 1976 and is seen during the summer of that year at Skegness Drummond Road bus station before departure on the 94 to Alford via Burgh-le-Marsh, Willoughby, etc. (long since withdrawn). At Alford connections were available with the 61 to Louth. One example 2270 (TWT 123) has been preserved. |
