Bristol MW5G 2075 (RFE 470) was originally fitted with dual-purpose

seating and would have been used on the LRCC's express services to

London and other such destinations. The acquisition of dual-pupose

seated Bristol LHs resulted in the displacement of the MWs and ordinary

bus seats replaced the more comfortable DP variety. The above view

shows 2075 at Skegness Drummond Road bus station in 1976 on service

92 to Anchor Lane in the coastal village of Ingoldmells. Thankfully, the

practice of using rather unhelpful destination displays of "DUPLICATE",

"RELIEF", "SPECIAL"and "PRIVATE" had long since been abandoned

by the LRCC !
