In 1988 the LRCC acquired several Northern Counties bodied Leyland

Atlanteans from Greater Manchester which were all new in 1976. Those

in ordinary service have been withdrawn some time ago, but two survived

after conversion to open toppers. 1304 (LJA 642P) is pictured above

as Skegness and it was still in use during the summer 1999 season making

it one of the oldest vehicles in the fleet.
