The LRCCs operations into Nottingham have seen much change over the

years. Initially route 33C (operated jointly with Trent) linked Grantham with

Nottingham. This was withdrawn many years ago, but the Company regained

entry into Nottingham when the former Gash Newark to Nottingham route

was acquired. This too was withdrawn but another route, the 119, saw the

Company well away from its normal territory operating a service from

Melton Mowbray to Notiingham via Long Clawson and Bingham which was

operated by Grantham depot. Another route, like the 119 was subsidised by

Leicestershire County Council, was the 29 between Nottingham and Long

Clawson. Renault S75 / Wright 380 (K380 RFE) is seen at Long Clawson on

August 25th, 1995, after arrival on the 1338 from Nottingham. Route 29 was

operated by Newark depot. At the time of writing there are now no LRCC

routes serving Nottingham.
