2314 (LFW 322), a Bristol LD6B with ECW H33 / 25RD body new to the LRCC in February 1955 is seen in Boston Market Place on July 29th, 1966 on a duplicate 59 service to Spalding.

2304 (KFW 315 was new to the LRCC in June 1954 and is seen parked at Scunthorpe. It was withdrawn in 1969 and then saw further service with West Riding Automobile Services.

In the days when the numbers travelling by bus was enough to justify two duplicates on the route 57 to Boston, lined up at the Drummond Road bus station in Skegness are (left to right) 2307 (KFW 318), 2317 (LFW 325) and 2357 (SFU 311) Coincedintally lined up in chronological order as they were new, respectively, in 1954, 1955 and 1958.

An interesting contrast at Grantham bus station. On the left is LD6B 2328 (NBE 131) new in September 1955, whilst beside it is 2506 (TVL 307) a Bristol FS5G new in November 1962.

At Boston Market Place is 2130 (GFW 278) a Bristol KS6B / ECW new in 1950. Behind is LD6G 2339 (OFU 89) which was new in 1956. Both are on route 59 to Spalding.

2357 (SFU 311), a Bristol LD5G, was new in 1958 and is seen at the Bracebridge works after working a service 6 run from Skegness.

Bristol LD5G 2362 (SFU 316) was new in 1959 and is seen at the Drummond Road bus station in Skegness after wiorking a service from Mablethorpe.

2358 (SFU 312) is seen at Victoria Street in Grimsby on the route 45. It was new to the LRCC in December 1958 and withdrawn in 1974.

2361 (SFU 315) was new to the Company in January 1959 and is seen at departing from Lincoln en-route to Sleaford on the 2A run via Digby. The bus was withdrawn in 1976.

2337 (OFU 87) was new to the LRCC in 1956. It is seen at Scunthopre bus station one year before withdrawal on route 221 to Byrd Road.

2364 (SFU 318) an LD5G new in 1959, is seen at Scunthorpe bus station amidst a variety of interesting vehicles.

2342 (PBE 121), an LD6G new in 1957, departs from Lincol St Mark's bus station on route 1A to Bracebridge Heath.

A nice view of 2356 (SFU 310), an LD5G wich was new to the LRCC in December 1958. In this view, some 20 years later, it stands at Louth bus station prior to working the route 48 to Manby Church. Overhanging branches meant that dented roofs were, unfortunately, fairly common !

At King's Lynn, LD5G 2370 (NFE 933), new in 1959, awaits departure on route 65 to Spalding. Begind it, operating as a duplicate, is 2271 (WWU 269), an MW5G, acquired from West Yorkshire Road Car in 1972.

At Louth bus station, FS5G 2386 (OVL 481), new in 1961, is stood before working the route 50 to Grimsby.

2255 (SFU 309), an LD5G, was new to the LRCC in January 1959. This very nostalgic view sees it at Nottingham's Huntingdon Street bus station on route 33C to Grantham which was jointly operated with Trent. The route was established in the 1930's and renumbered 79 in the late 1960's. and had long sine been withdrawn. The LRCC currently have no routes to Nottingham.

FS5G 2526 (BVL 286C) was new to the LRCC in 1965 and is seen outside the St. Mark's bus station in Lincoln having worked the service 2A from Branston.

2536 (DFE 962D) is seen at Boston Market Place before departing on service 57 to Skegness in 1975. The LRCC services in Boston all used to commence / terminate at this location prior to the opening of a bus station in 1976.

A close up view of the cab of 2516 (VFE 965) illustrates the simliticty of controls and layout compared with today's daouble deckers !

2516 (VFE 965) was one of the very last Lodekkas to be allocatwed to Skegness in 1980, and is seen at the depot. Out of season it was transferred to Boston and spent its remaining years with the Company at Scunthorpe depot.

2504 (TVL 305) stands at the Drummond Road bus station at Skegness in 1975. The "clippie" has a chat with the driver before setting off on the 91 run to Chapel St. Leonards.

2534 (CVL 411D) was amongst the last of the Lodekkas purchassed by the LRCC in 1966. It is seen at Lumley Square in Skegness before departing on route 96 to Winthroep Avenue.

2524 (BFE 814C) at Skegness Drummond Road bus station prior todeparture on the two hour run to Lincoln.

2323 (AVL 217C), a Bristol FLF6G, new to the LRCC in 1965, en route to Spalding on the route 65 from King's Lynn.

FLF6G 2717 (DFE 172D), new in 1966, arrives at Scunthorpe bus station on route 230 from Yaddlethorpe Cross Roads.

FLF 2508 (TVL 309) was new in 1962 and is seen at Scunthorpe bus station departing on route 233 to High Leys Road.

2507 (TVL 308) was new to the LRCC in 1962 and is seen whilst parked at the LRCC depot in Skegness.

Bristol FLF 2709 (HAE 275D) was aquired from the West Riding Automobile Company in 1978 and stasyed with the Company for four years until it was withdrawn and disposed of to A.P.T. This was the only FLF to be allocated toBoston depot and, even more significantly, was the last ever crew operated bus to be allocated to the depot. It is seen at Kirton in June 1981 prior to returning on the service 60 to Boston. It was transferred to Scunthorpe depot late that year.
