In the days when the numbers travelling by bus was enough to justify two duplicates on the route 57 to Boston, lined up at the Drummond Road bus station in Skegness are (left to right) 2307 (KFW 318), 2317 (LFW 325) and 2357 (SFU 311) Coincedintally lined up in chronological order as they were new, respectively, in 1954, 1955 and 1958. |

| 2255 (SFU 309), an LD5G, was new to the LRCC in January 1959. This very nostalgic view sees it at Nottingham's Huntingdon Street bus station on route 33C to Grantham which was jointly operated with Trent. The route was established in the 1930's and renumbered 79 in the late 1960's. and had long sine been withdrawn. The LRCC currently have no routes to Nottingham. | ![]() |

| 2516 (VFE 965) was one of the very last Lodekkas to be allocatwed to Skegness in 1980, and is seen at the depot. Out of season it was transferred to Boston and spent its remaining years with the Company at Scunthorpe depot. | ![]() |

| Bristol FLF 2709 (HAE 275D) was aquired from the West Riding Automobile Company in 1978 and stasyed with the Company for four years until it was withdrawn and disposed of to A.P.T. This was the only FLF to be allocated toBoston depot and, even more significantly, was the last ever crew operated bus to be allocated to the depot. It is seen at Kirton in June 1981 prior to returning on the service 60 to Boston. It was transferred to Scunthorpe depot late that year. | ![]() |
