| With the tower of St. Botolph's church (aka
"The Stump") dominating the Background, ex Ribble Bristol VR 1717 (CBV 14S) picks up at Boston Market Place whist on the 501 town service in 1984, still in its previous owner's red livery. Untin the Bus Station was opened in 1976, the Market Place was the starting and terminating point of most services. Sadly, the closure of the LRCC's depot in 1989 brought to an end the majority of the company's operations in Boston and the town service is currently provided by Brylaine Travel. Apologies for the poor technical qualityof this photograph, but the subject matter merits its inclusion. |
