The LRCC purchased four of these ECW bodied Leyland Leopards in

1982. They were regular performers on the X67 run between Lincoln and

Manchester via Newark, Mansfield and Chesterfield, jointly operated with

East Midland/Mansfield District and Silver Service. Having worked the

1105 from Lincoln, 1455 (AVL 744X) is seen near the Chorlton Street

terminus in Manchester on the last day of the X67 in its entirety, October

25th, 1986. The vehicle remained in the fleet and in latter years suffered

the indignity of having its coach seats replaced by standard bus types.
