| Bristol RE 1431 (CVL 850D) was new to the
LRCC in 1966. During the latter part of its career, it was allocated to Skegness depot and used on extensively on National Express runs and day excursions. The photograph shows it on an excursion at Belvoir Castle in 1976. After withdrawal it was sold for preservation although, at present, it currently resides in a field in The Fens, as illustrated below, very much in need of attention. |
