Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre

 

 

 

 

The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre is located near the small village of East Kirkby in Lincolnshire off the A155 Sleaford to Spilsby road. on the site of a former World War 2 airfield. This feature shows just a few of the fascinating exhibits to be found here. Further details can be found at the LAHC site. Opening times are:

SUMMER

Monday to Saturday - 10 am to 5 pm (last admission 4 pm)

WINTER

Monday to Saturday - 10 am to 4 pm (last admission 3 pm)

 

 

 

One of the most striking attractions is NX611 a Lancaster B Mk VII.

 

 

 

The restored control tower with many interesting exhibits inside.

The plaque for Mr. Norman Watt and the wreckage of the Spitfire in which he died.

 

 

The memorial to those in 57 and 630 Squadrons who failed to return.
