R. Kime & Co. (Folkingham)

HDV 641E, a Bristol MW6G with ECW C39F bodywork, was new to

Royal Blue and was acquired by Kime from Green of Weymouth. It

has long since been withdrawn and is now preserved in its original

owner's livery. The above view shows it at Boston bus station in 1985

whilst on hire to Enterprise & Silver Dawn of Waddington and, below,

after preservation.

Kime was one of the few operators in Lincolnshire to possess a

Bedford VAL70. This Duple Viceror example was originally fitted with

Viceroy C53F body, but would appear to have been reseated with bus

seats during its career. VLJ 232J was acquired from Lightfoot (Widnes)

in 1981, and is seen at Boston when on hire to Enterprise & Silver

Dawn.

Tiger with Marshall DP55F body, and is seen at Spalding bus station

before departure on the Company's principal route to Boston via

Donington.

kime was yet another Lincolnshire operator to acquire an Alexander

TAZ 4062 (originally KYV 370X) was one of four Park Royal bodied

new to London Transport. This vehicle was T370 in the latter fleet and,

like the other three, was once allocated to Walthamstow Garage.
