Two Grimsby trawlers moored in Alexander Dock (one GY248 British) in the early 1950's. Taken from the bus depot yard. The trawelers are approxinmately where the Ross Tiger is currently moored. The timber sheds at the rear were demolished to make way for a supermarket.

 

"Basalt" at Riverhead Grimsby owned by Blow's of Grimsby who also owned the "Queenast" and several barges used to carry general cargo between Grimsby and Hull.

The P.S. Wingfield Castle during the early 1950's whilst on a cruise from Grimsby Royal Dock Basin to Spurn Point"Riverboat Shuffle" with "The Riverside Jazzband" and dancing on the car deck.
