ADVANCE

FU 8271 and ADC416/Clark B32F. This vehicle later passed to the Enterprise fleet. It is seen in this 1930s view whilst at Grimsby prior to working a service to Scunthorpe via Brigg.

AE BROWN (CAISTOR)

AEC / DUPLE 215 CML is seenn at Blundell Park, Cleethorpes.

 

ENTERPRISE

CFW 212, a Guy Arab II 5LW with Roe L27 / 28R, was new to Enterprise in May 1945. The photographs was taken at the Brighowgate bus station in Grimsby prior to it departing on a service to Scunthorpe via Brigg.

FISONS

Commer HBE 563 is seen at Grimsby. As displayed on the side, it was owned by Fisons Fertelizers Ltd. and was a non psv used to transport staff.

HOLLOWAY

A PD2 which, although still displaying the operators name, was then owned by a contractor.

During the First World War, the Provincial Tramway Company, operating from Grimsby, attemoted to use gas to power vehicles to save petrol.

Bedford OB / Duple JV9032 as Grimsby, Brighowgate bus station.. The Company traded as Red Bus was operated by Hidgkiss of North Cotes.

 

STARK

Stark (of Tetney) CEE 582, a Leyland / Duple, is seen at the Brighowgate bus station in Grimsby.

 

TAYLORS ?

UA 8803 is seen here and was used on the Scunthorpe - Suswoth - Gainsborough run.
