The residents of Peterborough having been used to many years of red

vehicles, in more recent times have seen a number of variations. After

Cambus (with their Cambridge blue livery) came Viscount with yellow

and white (since succeeded by Stagecoach and, alas, another unique

livery was wiped out by Corporate Identity !). Seen at Peterborough's

very attractive Queensgate bus station is Bristol VR 58 (VAH 278X)

was new to Eastern Counties in 1981 as their VR278 and subsequently

passed to Cambus as their 748.
